About us:
Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) provide a level 5 Cardiology Service as classified by the Clinical Services Capabilities Framework.
The service delivers interventional and non-interventional inpatient and outpatient services for patients located in both CHHHS and Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS).
About you:
In your new role you will:
- Promote cooperation, teamwork and understanding in undertaking generalist and/or specialist nursing practices for effective health outcomes for patients undertaking cardiovascular procedures, including but not limited to Angiography, Patent Foramen Ovale closures, Electrophysiology studies and Device insertions.
- Practice collaboratively and provide clinical leadership within the interdisciplinary health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
- Provide clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education, and research in conjunction with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) and other Clinical nurses.
- Use effective communication skills to influence and convince others in a mature, confident manner to achieve positive client outcomes, including providing informant and/or advice on clinical issues within the RN scope of practice.
