Senior Building Maintenance Coordinator

About this role
About the Team
The Facilities and Capital Infrastructure team is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of CHQ Facilities through the delivery of maintenance services, asset management, infrastructure planning, and capital works coordination. The team works collaboratively across clinical divisions and corporate support functions to ensure facilities, building systems, and building infrastructure support patient care, operational continuity, compliance, and long-term organisational objectives.
About the Role
The position of Senior BEMS Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering efficient, compliant, and high-quality maintenance and property services across the Children's Health Queensland facility portfolio, ensuring that building systems, assets, and infrastructure effectively support clinical service delivery and patient safety. You will coordinate maintenance services and minor works, overseeing day-to-day operations, asset performance, and facility activities in line with best practice, compliance requirements, and organisational standards. In addition, you will partner closely with clinical and operational stakeholders while overseeing contractor performance, asset systems, and governance processes, ensuring strong alignment with healthcare delivery needs, effective communication, financial stewardship, and continuous improvement across maintenance planning and service delivery.
