Clinical Nurse - Continence

Your new role:

As a Clinical Nurse – Continence, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and specialist nursing care to clients with complex continence needs, supporting high-quality, person-centred outcomes across the Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS).

• Provide expert clinical assessment, care planning, coordination and management for clients with complex continence, bladder, bowel and pelvic floor needs.
• Work autonomously while providing clinical leadership, advice and support to clients, carers and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Collaborate with the MASS Clinical Nurse Consultant – Continence to support state-wide continence services, including clinical, product and procedural processes.
• Contribute to education, quality improvement, research and clinical practice initiatives to promote evidence-based and contemporary continence care.

About you:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse who can demonstrate specialist knowledge, strong clinical judgement and a commitment to delivering person-centred continence care.

• Demonstrated advanced clinical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience managing clients with complex continence needs.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary continence and urology practice, with experience in assessment and management of clients with bladder, bowel and/or pelvic floor dysfunction highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, build effective relationships and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, carers and other stakeholders.
• A commitment to education, professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice, with the ability to support the development of others and contribute to clinical innovation.
