About the role
As a visible advisor within an allocated client group, you will support and develop our people to achieve the strategic objectives of West Moreton Health.
Some of the key accountabilities of the role are:
- Provide a focussed service both within People and Culture and to line managers and employees, delivering contemporary, best practice human resources (HR) in the following areas:
- Complex case management (end-to-end case management relating to matters including but not limited to grievance/dispute resolution, workplace investigations, industrial matters, and performance management).
- HR advisory and consultancy services based on the industrial framework including policy and practices.
- Workforce information, analysis and reporting.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge of and expertise in applying HR frameworks (including HR and industrial legislation, acts, awards, policies and practices) and the ability to apply this knowledge in the case management of complex employment matters and investigations.
- Experience and well-developed understanding of a business partnership approach including coaching, advising and facilitating in order to resolve complex employment matters fairly and balanced with organisational needs.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to sensitively, confidentially and fairly manage people issues.
- Well-developed analytical, problem solving and time management skills with demonstrated experience in exercising sound judgement, proposed courses of action and decision-making.
- Well-developed skills in the use of computer systems including Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook).
